An Evening Honoring South Dakota Sports Excellence
The South Dakota Sports Hall of Fame will induct 21 new sports legends during the 2026 Annual Banquet at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
With the addition of this newest class, the Hall of Fame will have recognized 418 women and men from every region of South Dakota representing more than 30 sports.
Established in 1968 by the South Dakota Sportswriters Association, the Hall of Fame continues to preserve and celebrate the people who shaped athletics across the state through competition, leadership and service.
Today, the organization is managed by a dedicated group of volunteers from communities throughout South Dakota.
